Promises 696-700

696. Promise: God promises to establish His people in righteousness, keeping them safe from fear and oppression.

“In righteousness, you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.” (Isaiah 54:14)

697. Promise: God promises His people vic- tory over the dangers and enemies that threaten them.

“You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.” (Psalm 91:13)

698. Promise: God promises to protect His people with His presence and glory, creating a strong defense around them.

“I will be a wall of fire around her, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory within her.” (Zechariah 2:5)

699. Promise: God promises to provide refuge, shelter, and shade for those in need during times of distress

“You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.” (Isaiah 25:4)

700. Promise: God promises success and protection to those who walk in righteousness.

“He holds success in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.” (Proverbs 2:7)
