661. Promise: God promises to fight on behalf of His people, ensuring their victory and removing all fear from their hearts.

“Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God Himself will fight for you.” (Deuteronomy 3:22)

“God is my strong fortress, and He makes my way perfect.” (2 Samuel 22:33)

“The Lord is my rock and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)

664. Promise: God promises to guard and pro- tect the paths of His faithful followers.

He will guard the feet of His faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness.” (1 Samuel 2:9)
