Promises 511-515
511. Promise: God promises peace within our borders and abundance to satisfy our needs.
“He makes peace in your borders; He fills you with the finest of wheat.” (Psalm 147:14)
512. Promise: God promises to defend the oppressed and provide sustenance for the hungry.
“The Lord upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.” (Psalm 146:7)
513. Promise: God promises to restore sight and lift up those who are downtrodden, showing His love to the righteous.
“The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.” (Psalm 146:8)
514. Promise: God promises abundance, satisfaction, and the joy of praising Him for His wondrous works.
“And you will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you.” (Joel 2:26)
515. Promise: God promises to provide an abundant supply of grace, ensuring sufficiency for all our needs and generosity for every good work.
“God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)
