Promises 426-430

426. Promise: Sowing with tears results in a joyful harvest.

“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.” (Psalm 126:5)

427. Promise: God’s favor surrounds the righ- teous like a shield.

“For You bless the righteous, O Lord; You cover him with favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

428. Promise: God promises to provide for us when we seek Him and His righteousness first.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

429. Promise: Obedience to God leads to His exaltation and blessings above all nations.

“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.” (Deuteronomy 28:1)

430. Promise: God provides abundantly for the righteous, even in difficult times.

“Even in famine, the righteous will have more than enough.” (Psalm 37:19)
