Promises 1341-1345

1341. Promise: He keeps you safe from stumbling.

“Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away…” (Jude 1:24)

1342. Promise: He gives you wisdom and direction.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.” (James 1:5)

1343. Promise: He restores and confirms you after suffering.

“So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you.” (1 Peter 5:10)

1344. Promise: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)

1345. Promise: He rescues those who take refuge in Him.

“For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.” (Psalm 34:7)
