Promises 1321-1325

1321. Promise: He gives you rest when you are burdened.

“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’” (Matthew 11:28)

1322. Promise: The Lord your God is with you to fight your battles.

“Do not be afraid or discouraged… For the Lord your God is with you. He will fight for you.” (Deuteronomy 20:3–4)

1323. Promise: God delivers you from the schemes of the enemy.

“He rescues me from my enemies; you hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies.” (Psalm 18:48)

1324. Promise: He saves you because of His love.

“With his own eyes he saw them in their distress and heard their cry. For their sake he remembered his covenant…” (Psalm 106:44–45)

1325. Promise: The Lord watches over those who fear Him.

“But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.” (Psalm 33:18)
