Promises 1136-1140

1136. Promise: The Lord breaks every chain and sets the captives free.

“He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains.” (Psalm 107:14)

1137. Promise: God’s Word revives and delivers from oppression.

“Your promises revive me; it comforts me in all my troubles.” (Psalm 119:50)

1138. Promise: The Lord stands at your side and gives you strength.

“But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength…” (2 Timothy 4:17)

1139. Promise: God rescues you because He delights in you.

“He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.” (Psalm 18:19)

1140. Promise: He guards the lives of His faithful ones.

“He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.” (Psalm 97:10)
