Promises 1116-1120
1116. Promise: No evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
“No evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.” (Psalm 91:10)
1117. Promise: The Lord preserves the simple and rescues you when you are brought low.
“The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me.” (Psalm 116:6)
1118. Promise: Even if you walk through the darkest valley, you will fear no evil.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.” (Psalm 23:4)
1119. Promise: God gives light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death.
“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us.” (Luke 1:78–79)
1120. Promise: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)
