Promises 1071-1075

1071. Promise: The Lord will give you peace in your borders.

“He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat.” (Psalm 147:14)

1072. Promise: God lifts up the humble and defends the lowly.

“Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble.” (Psalm 138:6)

1073. Promise: The Lord will answer you when you call on Him in truth.

“The Lord is close to all who call on him… in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)

1074. Promise: God brings you out of slavery into a spacious place.

“He brought them out of darkness and deepest gloom and broke their chains.” (Psalm 107:14)

1075. Promise: God quiets the storm and brings you safely to shore.

“He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.” (Psalm 107:29)
