Promises 1056-1060

1056. Promise: God grants protection when you lie down to rest.

“When you lie down, you will not be afraid… your sleep will be sweet.” (Proverbs 3:24)

1057. Promise: The Lord will go ahead of you and be your rear guard.

“The glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.” (Isaiah 58:8)

1058. Promise: God establishes your steps and secures your footing.

“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” (Psalm 37:23)

1059. Promise: Even when you fall, you will not be cast down.

“Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” (Psalm 37:24)

1060. Promise: The Lord rescues His servants who trust in Him.

“But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.” (Psalm 34:22)
