Promise 1276-1280

1276. Promise: The Lord gives you strength to endure.

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)

1277. Promise: God protects the path of the righteous.

“The Lord protects the path of the just, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.” (Proverbs 2:8)

1278. Promise: The Lord delivers the needy when they call.

“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed.” (Psalm 72:12)

1279. Promise: God turns mourning into dancing.

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.” (Psalm 30:11)

1280. Promise: God’s mercy triumphs over judgment.

“There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy… But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.” (James 2:13)
