Day 8 Pray Favor by Praying God’s Will
Pray Favor by Praying God’s Will
Scripture:
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” — 1 John 5:14 (NKJV)
Devotional Thought:
“God’s will is His Word, and when you pray the Word, you release God’s favor.” —Dr. Daniel LeBlanc
Prayer becomes powerful when it’s rooted in the will of God—and His will is not a mystery. It’s written in His Word. When you pray God’s Word, you are praying His will, and the promise of 1 John 5:14 comes alive: He hears you. But “hears” doesn’t just mean He listens—it means He responds with favor. God’s will is His Word, and when you pray the Word, you release God’s favor. It’s not emotional prayers that move Heaven—it’s Word-based prayers that release divine results. You’re not begging for favor—you’re aligning with what God has already decreed. Favor is already yours in Christ, but prayer activates it. Not just any prayer—bold, specific prayers grounded in Scripture. When your prayer life is anchored in the promises of God, you move beyond hoping and into declaring. You stop wondering if favor will come and start commanding it into your atmosphere. His Word is your legal right to speak favor with confidence, knowing it will be established.
Reflection:
• Have I been praying what I want, or praying what God has already spoken?
• What favor promise from Scripture do I need to pray over my life today?
Declaration:
I decree that I pray the Word of God with boldness and confidence. I do not pray in fear or guesswork—I pray His will. And every time I pray His Word, I release His favor into my life.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that I don’t have to guess Your will. It’s written in Your Word. Teach me how to pray favor- filled scriptures over every area of my life. Let Your Word shape my prayers, fuel my faith, and activate Your favor. In Jesus’ name, amen.
